Serbia – Red Deer in Rut

A very large forest, with over 35.000 hectares is located in the South – East of Vojvodina, on the sand dunes of river Danube. This area has a natural population of exceptionally large Red deer, with males weighing up to 350 – 400 kg and with very large and wide trophies. In this area deer have been harvested of 240 – 250 CIC points.
These locust forests are very thick, so hunting can be done only in the roar when one can surprise large deer.
