In France

September – February

France is famous for its long hunting history, especially in mountain hunts, for chamois, of which it offers 4 different species: Alpine, Vercors, Chartreuse and Pyrenean. Hunts are traditionally organized by stalking and appropriate physical preparation is required, as for any mountain hunt. Lodging is foreseen in suggestive local three start hotels, offering all commodities and exquisite French cuisine. The hunts may be extended to hunt for Muflon sheep as well.
